| SIGNOMITE Works on all versions of Windows.  Signomite has been in development for 24 years. It's test system has been on the air in one form or another 24 hours a day. It's so easy to use, a manual isn't needed.
Every display page has a start date & start time as well as an end date & end time. You can even pick the day of the week for daily specials and you can even pick the time of the day that those specials display.
The program is extremely automatic. You can set it up to automatically schedule pages to display from 1 to 30 days so all you need to enter is the text for your ads and the program will set them to display for that default period of time.
Display pages are extremely easy to read and see. Like the poeple at Google have found, 24 years of testing has proven that text is the easiest to see so that's what you get. (The background color can be any one you want as long as it is BLACK! Smile, we learned that trick from Henry Ford)
Changing line font, font size, colors, slant & justification only requires the touching of one function key. You can preload any 12 TTF fonts to chose from.
The program even has a fat cursor to make it easier to find and SEE!
New display pages can be made in seconds.
The program automatically takes care of deleting old display pages from your hard drive after a certain period of time that you control from 1 to 30 days. If you need to extend a sale, just find the page and change the display times. The program waits a while before it dumps old display pages. (See The Set Up Page)
The program has an extensive pictured help system available at our site. (But you'll probably never need to use it!)
Again, like Google, he program only uses text. So there is no need to worry about pictures or how to make them or load them. In years of use, we have found that text is the best sales tool. With no pictures customers actually look at the products. The minds eye paints much better pictures than the real one most of the time.
The program doesn't print anything on paper on purpose! (Computers were supposed to save paper and trees. We have the one program that remembers that.)
Your can display up to four pages at one time on the same screen in the multiple screen mode. This feature allows you to put specials in one corner, store hours in another, check policy in another, etc, etc... Divide them up any way you wish.
All displays automatically calculate the number of words on the page and makes each display page time readable at a reading speed that you set. You can choose the reading speed based on your type of customers. Up scale stores can be fast, retiree stores can be slow, etc. Even in the multiple screen mode, all individual pages display for the appropriate amount of time for each page, based on the reading speed you select.
You can choose to have your display pages to either scroll or page. (The program does not do fancy, time wasting special effects that cost your system valuable viewing time by your customers. Even the wildest employee can't make the display anything but the sales and information tool $ign-O-Mite was designed to be.
The program has an extremely powerful search engine. Looking for a page any where in memory is easy and fast. This feature makes it extremely easy to manage your display system without additional paperwork. Looking for the HOTDOG sale page, just enter HOTDOG in the search engine and presto, it will appear. Again, Signomite saves paper. You never need to write down anything.
Backing up and restoring data is as easy as putting a disk in the computer and clicking on a button. (The program purposely doesn't erase old disks, so you CAN'T accidentally lose data. You have to use a freshly formatted disk each time. We found this is the best way to assure that every back up is a good one)
You can pick any display page for continuous display to accent important business specials or information. Just click on the [One Page Button] and select the page you want. This is an important feature for EMERGENCIES like credit card system failures and the like. Keep your customers informed.
The program was written for people that are vision impaired (retirees have been using it for over two decades on a mobile home cable TV system in Flroda) so if you forget your glasses, you'll still likely be able to fully operate the program.
